Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison Department of Radiology seeks an experienced PET/CT Manager to provide operational and administrative leadership for PET/CT imaging services. This role oversees a team of technologists and staff, directing day-to-day operations while aligning with clinical, education, and research missions within a dynamic academic health system.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading, supervising, coordinating, and/or managing healthcare operations or staff.
  • Experience with PET/CT, molecular imaging, or related imaging services.
  • Ability to coordinate complex clinical and research workflows and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in development, coordination, and facilitation of trainings and workshops for internal and external audiences.
  • Plans, develops, and implements processes and protocols to support research aims.
  • Supervises and manages 2.0+ FTE employees and oversees performance and conduct.
  • Acts as liaison among internal/external stakeholders and promotes imaging program developments.
  • Monitors budgets and approves unit expenditures.
  • Directs day-to-day operational activities aligned with strategic objectives.
