Job summary

The University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Manager to provide operational and administrative leadership for PET/CT imaging services within a premier academic health system.

You will lead technologists and support staff, overseeing day-to-day operations, safety, and patient-centered care while aligning with UW Radiology’s clinical, education, and research missions, including alignment with the PET/MR program.

Qualifications

  • Certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT (N).
  • Experience leading, supervising, coordinating, and/or managing healthcare operations or staff.
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple stakeholders, departments, or teams.
  • Two+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience in healthcare (preferred).
  • Experience in PET/CT, PET/MR, nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, radiology, or related imaging services (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and delivery of trainings and workshops for internal and external audiences.
  • Plan, develop, and implement processes and protocols to support research aims.
  • Supervise at least 2.0 FTE employees, including hiring, performance, and scheduling.
  • Act as unit liaison among internal and external stakeholders and promote research initiatives.
  • Monitor program budgets and approve unit expenditures.
  • Direct day-to-day operational activities of one or more research programs or units.
  • Develop policies and agreements on behalf of the program.
