Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years paid, professional dog walking experience.
• Previous professional administrative experience, including scheduling, recordkeeping, or client communications.
• Experience safely handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with computers, scheduling software, and digital tools.
• Independent work style with sound judgment and adaptability.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform physical dog walking duties in varying weather.
• Commitment to positive, force-free pet care methods.
• Availability during required scheduling windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional solo dog walking and pet sitting.
• Train and mentor new team members through hands-on instruction.
• Reinforce safe, force-free, fear-free pet handling practices.
• Observe team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Document training progress and communicate observations to management.
• Assist with scheduling, coverage, and client communications.
• Support onboarding, training documentation, and admin projects.
• Identify situations needing management attention and escalate as needed.
