Job summary

Barks & Recreation is seeking compassionate, active individuals for part-time dog walking and pet care visits.

You’ll walk dogs, hike trails, check in on pets while owners are away, and share visit updates with photos to keep clients informed. Training provided, no prior experience required, and a flexible schedule fits your life.

• A love for animals and being active outdoors.

Looking for a part-time job that doesn’t feel like work?

At Barks & Recreation, we’re building a team of people who want flexibility, fresh air, and work that actually feels good.

• Want consistent part-time hours without burnout
• Prefer movement over sitting still
• Enjoy working independently, but not alone
• Want a job that fits your life, not takes it over (unless you want that LOL)

What You’ll Do:

• Dog walks, trail hikes, and pet care visits
• Check in on pets while pet parents are busy
• Share visit updates + photos of your visits (yes, it’s part of the job!)
• Build relationships with pets and our amazing team

The Schedule:

• Minimum availability is 3 days/week (2 of them M-F)
• 4+ consecutive hours between 9AM–4PM - availability outside of that a bonus!

Pay + Perks:

• $16.95/hr + tips (average $3–9/hr)
