Job summary

Barks & Recreation is seeking energetic, part-time dog walkers in Ledyard, CT who like being outdoors and working with animals. This role offers flexible hours, 3+ days per week, 4+ hours between 9AM and 4PM, and the comfort of working outside with dogs.

You’ll walk dogs, check in on pets, share visit updates with photos, and build relationships with our furry clients and our team. Paid mileage and tips accompany hourly pay; growth opportunities exist for motivated individuals.

Looking for a part-time job that doesn’t feel like a work

What You’ll Do:

• Dog walks, trail hikes, and pet care visits
• Check in on pets while pet parents are busy
• Share visit updates and photos of your visits (yes, it’s part of the job!)
• Build relationships with pets and our amazing team

The Schedule:

• Minimum availability is 3 days/week (2 of them M-F)
• 4+ consecutive hours between 9AM–4PM - availability outside of that a bonus!

Pay + Perks:

• $16.95/hr + tips (average $3–9/hr)
