Canine Cabana LLC in Florida is looking for a devoted Pet Care Specialist to provide high-quality care for our furry guests, focusing on health, safety, and overall well-being. Training in pet care, behavior, and customer service will be provided to ensure the best care for our guests.

The ideal candidate is an animal lover with a gentle demeanor and strong communication skills. You will monitor pets, maintain clean enclosures, supervise play, and safely guide animals throughout the facility;

Qualifications

• Experience with pets preferred but not required.
• Able to stand long hours and work indoors/outdoors.
• Capable of lifting and handling pets of various sizes.
• Willing to perform cleaning tasks per company standards.
• Certification in pet first aid and CPR is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and well‑being of pets, noting and reporting any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in pet enclosures and play areas to create a safe and comfortable environment.
• Supervise individual and group play sessions to ensure a balance of safety and enjoyment for all pets.
• Safely handle and guide pets throughout the facility using proper techniques and care.

Work Schedule

Our Pet Care Specialists work a 10-hour shift within the operating hours of 5:30 am to 8:00 pm, seven days a week. Typically, shifts fall within the following timeframes:

• 5:30 am to 4:30 pm
• 6:00 am to 5:00 pm
• 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
• 9:0 am to 8:00 pm
