Job summary

North Madison Animal Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a Kennel Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians with daily tasks, including cleaning, feeding, restraining and handling pets. This role contributes to quality care and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1-2 years animal handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Feeds animals as prescribed by the attending Veterinarian or owner; records intake.
• Assists Veterinarians and technicians with pet restraint.
• Maintains hospital cleanliness; sanitizes cages and equipment.
• Walks and exercises pets as scheduled; provides fresh bedding.
• Remains professional and courteous to clients and co-workers while handling multiple tasks.
