Job summary

PetSmart, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Associate (Full Time) to engage with pet parents and their pets, uphold PetSmart’s values, and contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. You will assist customers, manage online orders, and support pet care across habitats and displays.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork while meeting store standards and safety guidelines. Weekend and holiday availability is often required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure positive pet parent experiences in-store, by phone, at the register, and online.
• Greets pet parents and answers their questions throughout the store.
• Prepares online orders for pick-up in store and ensures a smooth pick-up experience.
• Responsible for the pet healthcare of store owned pets, including feeding, watering and cleaning habitats.
• Maintains total store cleanliness standards.
• Stages and sorts new products to match sales floor planners.
• Faces, fills, and recovers products to meet sales floor standards.
• Recommends, informs, and sells merchandise, services and live pets.
