Happy Tails Pet Resort in Jackson, WY seeks a Pet Care Specialist (Kennel Technician) to care for kennel guests, handle reservations, and maintain accurate medical and boarding records. You will greet clients, promote services, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the facility.

Primary duties include feeding, cleaning, supervising play, coordinating vaccinations, and ensuring proper forms and billing. The role requires a friendly, reliable team player and the ability to lift 40 lb regularly.

• Organization and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for kennel guests: feed, clean housing, supervise play and provide general care.
• Receive calls and handle boarding/daycare reservations.
• Verify vaccination status; inform clients of past due vaccines.
• Schedule reservations and prepare necessary forms.
• Inform clients of drop-off/pick-up times and extra charges for late pickups.
• Ensure veterinary records are properly filed for animals needing services.
• Greet clients by name and promote services and treats.
• Complete boarding forms accurately and assist clients with requests.
• Escalate issues to the Practice Manager when needed.
