Job summary

Petco in the United States seeks a Key Holder to contribute to daily store leadership at the Pet Care Center. You will supervise partners, open and close the store, and serve as the on-floor contact when management is not present, ensuring a safe, friendly shopping experience for customers and their pets.

You will support leadership with floor coverage, problem resolution, and execution of merchandising and operational tasks while delivering outstanding service and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store on assigned shifts, serving as a point of contact when management is absent.
• Supervise partners on the floor, deliver strong customer service, and maintain a safe, welcoming store environment.
• Lead on-floor problem-solving and ensure smooth daily operations and strong store performance.
• Support merchandising standards, pricing accuracy, and planogram adherence.
• Assist with inventory tasks, restocking, and loss-prevention efforts.
• Provide guidance to partners during shifts and communicate store needs to leadership.
