Vetcor is seeking a Pet Care Attendant to join our team. This part-time role focuses on the health, happiness, and well-being of furry guests staying with us.

Join a supportive team where you will exercise and engage with dogs, monitor canine health, observe cats, and maintain a clean, safe environment while learning on the job.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
  • Able to walk dogs up to 50 lbs+; strong muscles required.
  • Comfort with a variety of breeds and sizes.
  • Animal care background helpful; love for pets and willingness to learn.
  • Training and support provided.

Pet Care Attendant – Part‑time

We’re searching for someone who is enthusiastic about animals and ready to join a supportive, fun‑loving team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining the health, happiness, and overall well‑being of the furry guests staying with us.

Position Details
  • Role: Pet Care Attendant
  • Status: Part‑time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Availability Requirements

Must be flexible and available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, school breaks and holidays; including before, day of, and the days after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and Spring Break.

Job Requirements
  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, even when the weather is not perfect
  • Must be able to walk large dogs (50 lbs+) – strong muscles required
  • Ability to handle a variety of breeds and sizes, from tiny house cats and Chihuahuas to big Great Danes with confidence
  • While an animal care background is desired, a deep love for pets and a willingness to learn will go a long way
  • We’ll provide training and support as needed
