Pet Care Attendant – Part‑time
We’re searching for someone who is enthusiastic about animals and ready to join a supportive, fun‑loving team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining the health, happiness, and overall well‑being of the furry guests staying with us.
Position Details
- Role: Pet Care Attendant
- Status: Part‑time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Availability Requirements
Must be flexible and available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, school breaks and holidays; including before, day of, and the days after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and Spring Break.
Job Requirements
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, even when the weather is not perfect
- Must be able to walk large dogs (50 lbs+) – strong muscles required
- Ability to handle a variety of breeds and sizes, from tiny house cats and Chihuahuas to big Great Danes with confidence
- While an animal care background is desired, a deep love for pets and a willingness to learn will go a long way
- We’ll provide training and support as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Exercising and engaging with dogs
- Monitoring canine health and behavior for any changes
- Observing cats for any signs of distress or contentment
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all animals
