Memorial Veterinary Pet Care Hospital is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking Part-Time Pet Care Attendant to join our team! If you’ve got a soft spot for pets and a strong work ethic, this might just be your perfect fit.

As a Pet Care Attendant, you’ll be a key part of our care team—helping ensure our furry guests are healthy, happy, and comfortable while providing peace of mind to their humans.

We Need Someone Who Is:

  • Passionate about animals
  • A true team player
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Able to handle physical work (think lots of walking, cleaning, lifting)
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Organized, proactive, and ready to pitch in wherever needed

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, cat condos, exercise yards, and common areas
  • Feeding and watering pets
  • Monitoring pet behavior and belongings
  • Administering medications as needed
  • Laundry duties and general housekeeping
  • Ensuring every animal receives gentle, respectful care
  • Assisting coworkers and adapting in a fast-paced environment
  • Working in all weather conditions and around pet messes—it's part of the job!

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience in dog/cat boarding preferred
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
  • Able to make quick decisions when it comes to animal interactions
  • Familiarity with behavioral cues and common health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physically able to lift 45 lbs, stand/walk for long periods
  • Not allergic to or fearful of dogs or cats
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
