Job summary

Destination Pet LLC in Onalaska, WI is hiring an Animal Care Attendant to keep kennels clean, feed animals, and provide gentle care. You will monitor pets, report issues, supervise play, help with brushing and baths, and handle laundry.

Shift availability includes mornings and afternoons, with some evenings, weekends, and holidays required. We value a love for animals and a willingness to get your hands dirty.

Qualifications

• Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe and sanitized.
• Serve meals and fresh water like a 5-star pet resort concierge.
• Monitor health, happiness and poop of every pet guest; report any concerns.
• Supervise playtime and occasional fetch sessions.
• Assist with brushing and bath time; handle laundry and belongings.
• Make tails wag and ensure every pet feels at home.
• Report unusual issues to General Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
