Job summary

Destination Pet LLC in Greensboro, NC is seeking an Animal Care Attendant to keep kennels and play areas clean, feed and water pets, and monitor their well-being. You’ll help supervise playtime and assist with brushing and bath time, while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all animals.

Ideal candidates bring a love for animals, willingness to get hands dirty, and availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized.
• Serve meals and fresh water for pets.
• Monitor health, happiness, and any unusual behavior; report to supervisor.
• Supervise playtime and assist with grooming tasks as needed.
• Assist with brushing, bath time, and laundry to keep pets comfortable.
