Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC is seeking an Animal Care Attendant at Jill's Pet Resort in New Bern, NC. This on-site, hands-on role requires you to care for dogs and cats, keep areas clean, assist with baths and feeding, and monitor pet wellbeing.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs; weekend and holiday availability is required. Prior kennel experience is a plus, but motivated, animal-loving applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Willingness to lift up to 40 lbs and manage physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas clean, safe, and sanitized.
• Feed meals and freshwater for pets and monitor comfort.
• Observe health and happiness, report unusual findings to managers.
• Assist with brushing, baths, and laundry; help with general duties.
