Job summary

Destination Pet LLC in Winston-Salem is seeking an Animal Care Attendant. This on-your-feet role requires a true love for animals, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and evening/weekend/holiday availability.

Pay starts at $13.00/hour plus tips, with Telehealth, 401K and Pet Insurance benefits. You will care for dogs and cats in day care and boarding, keep enclosures clean, feed and water pets, monitor health and happiness, report concerns to management, assist with brushing and bath time, and

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus.
• Hands-on, on-your-feet role with clean grooming and sanitation expectations.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized.
• Serve meals and fresh water for each pet.
• Monitor health, happiness, and overall well-being of pets.
• Report any concerns to the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Assist with brushing and bath time; help with laundry and belongings for pets.
