Job summary

Wolfgang’s Pet Stop in St. Louis is seeking a Pet Bather who loves dogs and delivering great care. You will bathe dogs of all sizes, dry and brush coats, and help the grooming team to create a calm, clean environment for every pet. You will interact with caring owners and contribute to exceptional service every day.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with animals, preferably in grooming or pet care.
• Calm and patient demeanor to handle dogs with different temperaments.

• Commitment to providing excellent care to every pet and owner.

Now, we’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Pet Bather to join our team!

What You’ll Do as a Pet Bather

As a Pet Bather, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our furry clients look and feel their best. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Bathing dogs of all sizes and breeds with care and attention to detail.
• Drying and brushing out coats to prepare them for grooming.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment for both pets and team members.
• Providing exceptional customer service by ensuring pets are returned to their owners looking and feeling great.
• Assisting the grooming team as needed to deliver the best possible experience for every pet.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Pet Bather who shares our passion for pets and has:

• At least 1 year of experience working with animals, preferably in a grooming or pet care environment.
• A calm and patient demeanor to handle dogs with different temperaments.
• Physical stamina to handle an active work environment, including lifting and bathing dogs of various sizes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
• A commitment to providing excellent care and service to every pet and their owner.
