Job summary

Larry's Laundromutt in Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated Pet Bather to help our furry clients look and feel their best.

You’ll bathe dogs of all sizes with care, dry and brush coats to perfection, assist with grooming tasks, maintain a clean, organized workspace, and provide a calm, positive experience for pets and their owners while following safety protocols.

Experience is welcome but not required; at least 1 year in animal care is preferred to join our longtime, pet-loving team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with animals in a professional setting.
• Passion for pets and patience with animals of all temperaments.
• Ability to follow grooming and safety protocols.
• Physical stamina for standing and handling dogs of various sizes.

Responsibilities

• Bath dogs of all sizes with care and attention to detail.

Larry's Laundromutt, the city’s longest-operating dog wash, is looking for a dedicated Pet Bather to join our team. If you have a passion for pets and a knack for keeping them clean and happy, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Bather at Larry's Laundromutt, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our four-legged clients leave looking and feeling their best. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Bathing dogs of all sizes with care and attention to detail.
• Drying and brushing coats to perfection.
• Assisting with general grooming tasks as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Providing a calming and positive experience for pets and their owners.
• Nail trimming (if you have the skills—this is a bonus!).

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience working with animals in a professional setting (such as grooming, bathing, or pet care).
• A genuine love for animals and the patience to handle pets of all temperaments.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety and grooming protocols.
• Physical stamina to work on your feet and handle pets of various sizes.
• Bonus: Experience with nail trimming is a big plus!
