Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a pest control technician to service residential customers in Georgia. You will perform inspections, identify pests, determine appropriate control methods, and apply approved products while adhering to safety standards.

You will educate clients on prevention, build relationships, schedule visits, and assist with sales to expand the customer base. Maintain equipment and comply with regulations in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Licenses/Certificates as required by regulations may apply.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform pest management services for residential customers.
• Conduct inspections to identify infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Determine the type of pest infestation and suitable control methods.
• Apply approved chemicals, baits, traps, and other products following safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and reducing future risks.
• Build customer relationships and schedule/confirm appointments.
• Assist with sales to current customers and expand products to new customers.
• Maintain and service pest control equipment and PPE.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations governing pest control.
