Job summary

Orkin seeks hands-on technicians to inspect and install pest and home protection systems in a dynamic field team. No prior pest control experience required, as award-winning paid training will equip you to succeed.

You will work with a crew to perform attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation, insulation, and light carpentry, while communicating clearly with customers and maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Wear PPE, including OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.
• Construction/roofing/maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• Candidates with construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance experience (preferred)

• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service

• Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule

• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on roofs.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Demonstrated experience using a metal brake to bend or shape metal components

• Valid driver's license and good driving record

• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training)
