Job summary

Orkin in Cincinnati is seeking motivated individuals with construction, roofing, or home improvement experience to build a durable career in pest control. No prior pest control experience?

Our paid training program will teach you everything you need to succeed. You will inspect and install pest control systems, perform attic and crawlspace services, and communicate clearly with customers while using company-provided tools and a path to leadership within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and work well in a team.
• Willingness to learn pest-control-specific skills through paid training.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation
• Light carpentry work

Qualifications

We're Looking For:

• Candidates with construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance experience (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on roofs.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces
• Must wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required
