Job summary

Orkin is offering a hands-on career for individuals with construction, roofing, or home improvement experience. No prior pest control experience is required as a comprehensive, paid training program is provided.

You will inspect and install pest protection systems, work with a technician crew, and handle attic or crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation. We value safety, professionalism, empathy, integrity, and innovation, and provide a company vehicle, tools, and ongoing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using a metal brake to bend or shape metal components.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a task.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
