Job summary

EcoSmart Pest Solutions in the Tampa area is seeking a Pest Control Technician to inspect interior and exterior spaces for signs of infestation, identify pests, and determine the most effective treatment options. You will measure treated areas, prepare bids, and safely apply pesticides.

The position requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to be on-call during off-hours and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and ability to maintain a company vehicle and equipment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to be on-call during off-work hours and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the interior and exterior of buildings and the surrounding environment for signs of infestation.
• Determine the types of pests and best possible treatment options.
• Measure the size of the areas to be treated.
• Create and present bids with the estimated cost of services.
• Implement various pest control methods to treat the areas.
• Safely apply pesticides.
