Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management services, inspections, and treatment applications. You will educate customers on prevention and maintain equipment while complying with safety regulations.

The role involves driving a company vehicle, working in various spaces, and building customer relationships. Training and safety gear are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Solid reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills to follow product label instructions.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Able to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests safely.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current and new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Follow all regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle.
