Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, from inspections to effective treatments, while explaining solutions to customers. You will work outdoors and indoors, wear PPE, and drive a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Licenses/certificates as required by law.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills for following product labels.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
• Apply pest control products safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on prevention methods.
• Build relationships with customers and assist with sales.
• Maintain and stock pest control equipment.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle.
