Job summary

Connecticut Pest Elimination is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service routes across Connecticut. You will receive award-winning, paid training and work to build relationships with customers while delivering pest control solutions.

No experience is required; you must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma. The role offers $19.00–$22.00 per hour, a company vehicle after training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a problem solver for your customers by combining the in-depth training provided and attention to detail to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and practice customer service skills by discussing additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program
• Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, allow flexibility with customer and weather-related factors and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s home
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy
