Orkin, LLC in Carbondale, IL is seeking a Pest Control Technician (Maintenance) to protect homes and businesses with professional pest protection. You will service daily routes, inspect properties, and communicate solutions clearly to customers.

Paid training from day one, no prior pest control experience required; strong benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and more; ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and safely access crawl spaces, attics, etc.
• Willing to climb, crawl, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers professionally on your daily route and provide top-tier pest protection.
• Inspect properties and identify pest issues, training provided.
• Communicate solutions clearly and empathetically to customers.
• Recommend additional services that bring peace of mind.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.
• Complete reports and documentation on a handheld device.
