Job summary

Viking Pest Control is looking for a customer-focused service professional in New Jersey. You will consult with clients to assess pest issues, perform treatments, and follow safety procedures while maintaining accurate service notes.

Responsibilities include removing cobwebs, setting traps, and selling additional services when appropriate. The role requires reliable mobility, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Resolve customer pest issues and apply pesticides as directed.
• Remove cobwebs around the home perimeter and set/remove traps as needed.
• Provide service notes to clients and follow daily routes for efficiency.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations and sell additional services when appropriate.
• Close leads from the sales team and report updates to the branch manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities

• Follow daily route to ensure services are completed efficiently

Requirements

• 21years of age

• MUST have off-street parking for company-issued vehicle

• A high school diploma or G.E.D.

• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to read labels and follow directions

• Enthusiasm for exceptional customer service

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Solid attention to detail

• Availabilityto workSaturdays as needed

• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check

• The ability to meet the physical demands of the job; walking, bending, kneeling, climbing,lifting & carrying up to60Lbs.
