Job summary

Viking Pest Control in New Jersey is seeking a customer-focused Pest Control Technician to diagnose pest issues, apply treatments, and maintain safety standards on every service visit.

Responsibilities include following routes, communicating with clients, and assisting with sales of additional services as needed. Strong drive, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs are essential.

• Provide service notes to clients.
• Follow daily route to ensure services are completed efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Sell new services to existing clients.
• Close leads as directed from the sales team and branch manager.
• Provide updates to branch manager as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 21years of age

• MUST have off-street parking for company-issued vehicle

• A high school diploma or G.E.D.

• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to read labels and follow directions

• Enthusiasm for exceptional customer service

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Solid attention to detail

• Availabilityto workSaturdays as needed

• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check

• The ability to meet the physical demands of the job; walking, bending, kneeling, climbing,lifting & carrying up to60lbs

• Ability to safely use an extension ladder

• Use of technology, including smartphones, GPS, andcompany-issued software
