Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Pest Control Technician to run daily routes, service customer pest concerns, and maintain truck and equipment. No experience required; on-the-job training provided, with a valid US driver's license and clean driving record.

You will mix and apply pesticides following laws, keep records, and act as the SME for customers, with benefits including paid training, health and dental plans, a company iPhone and vehicle, a 401(k), and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Valid US driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past 4 years).
• Undergo a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer’s individual needs.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
