Job summary

OPC Pest Services in Elizabethtown, KY, is hiring Pest Control Technicians to serve residential and commercial customers. No prior pest control experience is required; we offer a competitive base wage of $40,000–$60,000 per year with uncapped commissions, plus a take-home vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will deliver pest management services, build strong customer relationships, and collaborate with office staff to schedule visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality pest management services per company and label guidelines for residential and commercial customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers and respond to their needs in pest matters.
• Seek opportunities to grow the customer base and schedule services with coordination from the call center.
• Read and follow all product label instructions during service.
• Develop and maintain records of field activities such as service tickets, inspections, and service agreements.

You will…

• Deliver high quality pest management services in accordance with company, manufacturer, and governmental guidelines to commercial and residential customers;

• Build strong relationships with customers to be attentive to their needs in controlling pest matters;

• Seek opportunities for customer base growth;

• Read and follow all label instructions for products utilized while performing pest management services;

• Develop and maintain records of field activities, such as but not limited to service tickets, inspection reports, and service agreements;

• Partner with call center and office staff to schedule/reschedule services, prioritize work and arrange service calls as necessary;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED

• Valid driver's license

• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
