Job summary

Abell Pest Control is seeking a self-motivated Pest Control Technician to join our branch team in Wisconsin. You will inspect properties, determine the best extermination methods, and apply pesticides or traps as needed while following safety guidelines.

You will contact potential customers, coordinate routes, maintain inventory, and ensure timely service. Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus; a valid applicator's license is required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Valid Applicator's License required.
• Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Sales experience is an asset for growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on extermination methods (pesticides, traps, mechanical methods).
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities.
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions when using fumigants and spraying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in the company vehicle.
• Manage schedule and route to ensure timely service completion.
• Address customer needs and optimize their pest control program on-site.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Pest Control Technician will be responsible for :

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such wearing protective gear guidelines
• Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle
• Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
• Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site
