Job summary

Abell Pest Control Inc. in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a motivated Pest Control Technician to join our field team.

This role reports to the Branch Manager and focuses on identifying infestation sources and applying the most effective extermination methods, including pesticides, traps, and other controls. You will contact potential customers, manage routes, maintain equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• A Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Valid Applicator's License.
• Sales experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment
• Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle
• Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
• Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site

The Opportunity

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods

• Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such wearing protective gear guidelines
• Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle
• Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
• Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site
