Job description

  1. Site Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations, entry points, and conducive conditions.
  2. Treatment Application: Safely apply chemical and non-chemical pest control solutions (e.g., sprays, baits, traps) following company protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  3. Pest Identification: Diagnose pest species (rodents, insects, termites, etc.) and recommend appropriate treatment plans based on findings.
  4. Equipment Maintenance: Clean, calibrate, and maintain pest control tools, sprayers, and safety gear to ensure operational efficiency.
  5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA standards, NEA regulations, and company safety procedures when handling pesticides and equipment.
  6. Client Education: Explain treatment processes, prevention tips, and follow-up schedules to customers, addressing their concerns professionally.
  7. Documentation: Complete detailed service reports, including treatments applied, chemicals used, and recommendations for future visits.
  8. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with supervisors and fellow technicians to optimize service routes, share insights, and resolve complex infestations.

Responsibilities:

  • Professionally inspect properties to determine pest presence and damage levels.
  • Apply pest control treatments in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Clearly communicate treatment details and prevention advice to clients.
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all pest control equipment.
  • Provide timely reports and recommendations to supervisory staff.
