Job summary

Orkin in Terre Haute, IN is hiring to join our award-winning team as an Orkin Pro. You’ll serve customers on your daily route, inspect properties for pests, and provide top-tier protection with comprehensive training provided.

Average first-year earnings range from $50,000 to $60,000, with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, a 401(k) match, paid vacation, holidays and sick leave, plus employee discounts and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Wear PPE, sometimes OSHA-respirator required.
• Climb, crawl or work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on your daily route and provide pest protection.
• Inspect properties and identify pest issues; training provided.
• Explain solutions clearly and empathetically to customers.
• Recommend additional services to bring peace of mind.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.
• Complete reports on a handheld device.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
