Aptive Environmental is seeking a Full-time Pest Control Technician to service customers in the Tampa area. The role involves running daily routes, maintaining equipment, and applying pesticides in accordance with state and federal laws. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and a company vehicle for local travel.

The position requires a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record. No prior pest control experience is necessary, as comprehensive training is offered.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Valid US driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record: no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past four years.
• Drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Run daily route, resolving customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in working order.
• Keep accurate treatment records.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert, implementing the best pest solutions for each customer.
• Maintain and service route customers per company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers on potential problems.
• Inform management of issues encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use.
• Assigned route within local area.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.
