Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a hard-working Pest Control Technician to cover a road-based route in the St. Cloud, MN area with reporting to the Edina, MN office once weekly. The role features a typical hourly pay range and a comprehensive benefits package, including vehicle use and bonuses.

Applicants should be ready to work in the field, handle pesticides per regulations, and maintain records. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement exist within Aptive Intelligent Pest

Qualifications

• This is an opportunity for a great career with no experience necessary; we will train you.
• A US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years is required.
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past four years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply and handle pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing effective pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of problems on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides.
• Assigned route will be in the local area; carry a ~50 lb product backpack.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full‑time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around St. Cloud, MN. This position will report to our office in Edina, MN once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

• $22.75 - $24.75 an hour

Responsibilities Include

• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
