Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to service residential and commercial customers on road routes around St. Cloud, MN, reporting to the Edina office weekly. This role offers an on-the-road schedule with overtime opportunities and a company vehicle.

You will receive paid training, health plans, a 401K with employer match, and a supportive team culture. No prior experience is required; training is provided to become a subject-matter expert in pest control.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Valid US driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in the past 4 years).
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers to implement the best pest solution for each notional need.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of problems on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage.
• Assigned a local-area route.
• Carry a product backpack weighing ~50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around St. Cloud , MN . This position will report to our office in Edina, MN once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

• $22.75 - $24.75 an hour

• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
