Pest Control TechnicianPosition Overview

Seeking both Experienced Applicator with a 7A license and 1 Pest Control Technician we are willing to train. This is a walking route schedule and we require techs to work 2 - Saturdays schedules per month.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities for a Pest Control Technician include the following, but are not limited to:

• Travel to and from appointments to preform inspections and treatments (mostly walking routes)
• Always follow the products label to apply pesticides or non-pesticides safely
• Perform the proper application methods within structures
• Moving through crawl spaces, climb ladders and stairwells
• Carrying equipment, lifting mattresses, moving furniture, heavy appliances
• Completing all paperwork and route logs

Qualities Desired

• Professionalism, Good communication skills, both oral and written (bi-lingual a plus), Hardworking & Customer Service Oriented.
• Able to work in a team environment and independently
• Reliable and punctual for all work assignments
• Willing to learn and grow with the company

Qualification Requirements

• 7A, 7F License Preferred (unlicensed techs must be willing to obtain license within 6 months)
• Positive client service attitude
• Reliable and punctual for work and all assignments
• Successfully completing initial training
• Participating in regular in-house workshops enhancing skills, best practices and new methods
• Must be available for Saturday work
• Ability to stand, lift and move around

Education and / or Experience

• High School diploma or General Education Degree.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex instructions.
• Ability to complete forms and work logs neatly and accurately.
• Ability to understand and adhere to company's policy with respect to work schedule, attendance, call-out policy, job duties, etc...
• Ability to effectively and professionally present information to customers.
