Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to operate on a daily route around Mesquite, TX, with weekly reporting to the Plano office. This full-time role offers uncapped bonuses, a company vehicle you can take home, and growth opportunities within a safety-conscious pest control team.

You’ll be part of a vibrant field team servicing residential areas. Starting pay ranges from $17.25 to $19.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and an emphasis on teamwork, training, and career

Qualifications

• No experience required; we will train you.
• US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in past year and no more than 2 in past 4 years)
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides in compliance with state and federal laws
• Be the subject matter expert for customers, recommending the most effective pest solution
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards
• Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed
• Maintain inventory of pesticides in use
• Carry a route in local area; route may be assigned nearby
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Job Description

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Mesquite, TX. This position will report to our office in Plano, TX once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Responsibilities Include

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order

• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs

• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
