Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our road-based team in McDonough, GA. This full-time role reports to the Atlanta area and offers a company vehicle, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits while you service local routes.

No prior experience is required; we provide paid training and opportunities for advancement. Expect an on-site job with every-other-Saturday work and a competitive hourly wage in a growth-focused culture.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we will train you.
• US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route delivering pest control services and resolving customer concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing effective pest solutions tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed of issues on routes.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides and carry a ~50 lb product backpack.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around , McDonough, GA . This position will report to our office in Atlanta, GA once per week . The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

Salary: $17.25 - $21.25 an hour

Responsibilities include:

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
