Job summary

Aptive Intelligent Pest Control is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to manage daily routes around Sandusky, OH, with weekly reporting to the Toledo office. The role offers a company vehicle, iPhone, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health and 401(k) matching.

Overtime, advancement opportunities, and a vibrant culture are included. Responsibilities include resolving customer pest concerns, maintaining equipment, recording treatments, and adhering to laws

Qualifications

• This is an opportunity for a great career with no experience necessary; we will train you
• A US driver's license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Sandusky, OH. This position will report to our office in Toledo, OH once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

$18.25 - $20.25 an hour
