Job Description: Pest Control Technician

Pest Control Technicians serve as the vital link between our company and our clients, delivering exceptional customer service. Your role involves diagnosing pest issues, implementing solutions, and advising clients on preventive measures. Building long-term relationships and safeguarding homes and businesses are key aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

1. Consult with customers to understand pest problems and determine the scope of service.
2. Resolve pest issues effectively.
3. Apply pesticides or products as directed, following safety guidelines.
4. Remove cobwebs around the perimeter of homes.
5. Set and remove traps as needed.
6. Maintain service notes for clients using PestPac.
7. Follow a daily route to ensure efficient service delivery.
8. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
9. Promote and sell additional services to existing clients.
10. Close leads as directed by the sales team and branch manager.
11. Provide updates to the branch manager as necessary.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read labels and follow instructions.
• Basic proficiency with a smartphone.
• Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
• Physical ability to perform walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and carrying up to 40 lbs.
