Responsibilities

The Orkin Pro provides safe and professional pest protection and service on a designated route. Your career begins with comprehensive, award-winning training to develop skills in route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis, and treatment planning. You will work to understand customer problems and resolve them effectively.

Key duties include:

  • Completing training to acquire necessary skills and knowledge
  • Prioritizing safety
  • Following route and daily schedules within your territory
  • Operating a company vehicle safely and maintaining its cleanliness
  • Exhibiting professionalism and integrity with customers and colleagues
  • Listening to customers' needs and recommending effective, innovative solutions with empathy
  • Explaining actions, ensuring satisfaction, and discussing additional services with customers
  • Inspecting properties (training provided)
  • Completing service documentation via handheld devices accurately and efficiently

Minimum Requirements

  • No prior experience necessary; training provided
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid)
  • Ability to work independently in the field, managing routes and customer interactions

Work Environment

Must meet physical requirements and perform duties safely, with or without accommodations:

  • Use ladders within weight limits
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Access crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, etc., including climbing and balancing
  • Wear PPE, including respirators when required
  • Work in various weather conditions
