Job summary

Aptive Intelligent Pest Control™ is searching for a full-time Pest Control Technician to operate on-road in the Charlotte, NC area, reporting weekly to the Greenville, SC office. The role involves daily routes, pesticide application, and customer service to address pest concerns.

Qualifications

• A US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years is required.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.
• No experience necessary; we will train you.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing effective pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs about 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around , Charlotte, NC. This position will report to our office in Greenville, SC, once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

$19.00 - $23.00 an hour

• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
