Position Overview:

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This full-time Pest Control Technician position is based on the road around Ankeny, IA. The role involves reporting to our Ankeny, IA office once a week. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment and excels at working independently.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $21.00
• Uncapped customer upgrade and referral bonuses

Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily routes to resolve customer pest issues
2. Maintain truck and equipment
3. Accurately record treatments
4. Handle pesticides following laws
5. Implement tailored pest solutions for customers
6. Maintain route standards and procedures
7. Advise customers on potential issues
8. Report problems to management
9. Manage pesticide inventory
10. Work in local area routes
11. Carry approximately 50 lbs backpack
12. Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary; training provided
• Valid US driver’s license (minimum 3 years)
• Clean driving record (no more than one violation in past year, two in past four years)
• Drug test and background check required
