Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking an Innovation/Utility specialist to perform pest control, TAP insulation installation, and light construction tasks in residential and commercial settings. You will engage customers, ensure high service quality, and follow safety protocols daily.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and responsible handling of tools and materials in varied environments, with full-time hours and benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle driving record check.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and ability to present information.
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide; follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pest Control: Inspect, identify pest activity, perform pest control for residential and commercial clients, install and maintain termite control systems.
• TAP Insulation Installation: Install Thermal Acoustical Pest Control insulation, ensure quality service and customer satisfaction, manage job-site prep and clean-up.
• Construction and Repair: Assist with light construction projects, including minor repairs and replacements related to pest damage.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to explain services, ensure satisfaction, and provide pest control guidance.
• Service Delivery: Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal, set up and build exclusion traps, ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and participate in training.
