Job summary

Orkin is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Inspector to inspect homes, identify pest risks, and recommend protection plans. You will educate customers on findings, design tailored protection strategies, and build lasting trust with homeowners in the Midlothian area.

This role emphasizes field-based work, strong customer service, and the drive to achieve personal income goals through base pay plus commissions. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within a recognized pest-control leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification; company covers training/licensing.
• Ability to work independently in the field delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Meet homeowners to conduct interior and exterior home inspections.
• Identify termite activity, pest concerns, and conditions increasing risk.
• Educate customers about inspection findings and recommended solutions.
• Design customized protection plans based on customer needs.
• Build trust through professional consultations and exceptional customer service.
• Follow up on leads and generate referral opportunities.
• Prepare service agreements and documentation using company technology.
• Manage schedule and sales pipeline to reach income and performance goals.
