Pest Control Lead Technician / Field Trainer

About Us:

Pest Assassins is a veteran and family-owned business that has been providing top-notch pest control services to residential and commercial customers in Rhode Island and Massachusetts since 2011. Our commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction drives everything we do. We are looking for a dedicated Lead Technician \ Field Trainer to assist with training and developing new hire and operating pest control technicians.

Job Summary:

As the Lead Technician / Field Trainer, you will assist with training and supporting technicians, ensure compliance with industry and company standards, and help drive performance and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a results-driven and motivated individual with experience in pest control and a passion for training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and train field technicians on company processes, safety procedures, and service delivery standards to maintain consistency and excellence.
  • Support daily technician operations, ensuring job completion, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct regular field audits, ride-alongs, and quality control checks.
  • Train and mentor service team members to meet performance goals.
  • Assist with conducting effective monthly training meetings using PowerPoint.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and work to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and ownership teams
  • Conduct hands-on services as needed to cover time-off requests or other needs of the business to complete routes.
  • Promote a positive team culture and uphold company values.
  • Work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed, open to close.
  • Learn and be proficient with all business software.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in the pest control industry
  • Valid pest control licenses/certifications (preferred or required by state)
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of termite, and mosquito services is a plus
  • Proficiency in route management and service software
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Must pass pre-employment background screening
