Job summary

Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is seeking an experienced pest control professional with at least 5 years of citrus IPM experience. The role requires traveling between ranches in California and maintaining a clean California driver’s license record. A PCA license is required.

The ideal candidate will monitor fields, evaluate chemical efficacy, and coordinate applications with ranch managers while ensuring compliance with DPR regulations. Strong safety and inventory management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.
• BS in Agriculture or plant science preferred.
• Must be able to follow our Fleet Safety Program and Policies.
• Valid PCA license required.

Responsibilities

• Find insects, diseases, weeds and other organisms and implement IPM programs; write recommendations.
• Monitor and scout fields for economic thresholds.
• Evaluate chemical efficacy in fields.
• Correctly use chemicals for maximum fruit quality.
• Communicate with ranch managers to coordinate pesticide applications.
• Comply with California Department of Pesticide Regulations.
• Order chemicals and keep inventory up to date.
• Manage field scouts.
• Coordinate pest control operations.

Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is looking for an optimistic, committed, and motivated candidate who has at least 5 years of experience with citrus pest control. This job will require traveling from one ranch to another which will require a valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record.

Job duties include but are not limited to, the following:

Physical Requirements

• Employee is regularly required to walk, stand for periods of time at workstation, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in extreme cold, heat, or humidity; and sometimes can include work in dusty or muddy work conditions

Pay offered/ Benefits

• $90,000 to $110,000 annually
